60 held in Bhogapuram

Visakhapatnam: Villagers at Gudepuvalasa, one of the villages in Bhogapuram mandal where the proposed international airport is being proposed, stopped officials of the RITES organization on Thursday from conducting the primary survey.
Around 60 people including women were arrested by the cops when they obstructed the survey officials from entering their village.Officials of the same consultant firm found the villagers in their way a couple of days ago when they were conducting survey.
All the arrested persons were released later in the evening, sources said.
