Visakhapatnam: The ASR district administration has temporarily restored the GK Veedhi-Seeleru road for light vehicles, including two-wheelers, cars, and jeeps, as of Friday afternoon. However, heavy vehicles such as buses, lorries, and others will not be permitted to use the road for the next week. The recent heavy rains in the district resulted in four fatalities due to landslides and other causes. The 50-km stretch between GK Veedhi and Seeleru had landslides at 15 locations and seven bridges were washed away.TNN
