Pharma mishap: 2 more workers succumb, toll rises to three
Visakhapatnam: The death toll in the mishap at Synergene Active Ingredients Private Ltd rose to three, with two more injured persons succumbing to burns while they were availing treatment at a private hospital in the city on Monday.
The condition of another victim, who is under special care in the hospital, is said to be critical.
Three workers--Lal Singh Purthy, Roya Angira, and Oybonkorha, all from Jharkhand--suffered over 70 per cent burns, while K Suryanarayana, a chemist from Vizianagaram, suffered 50 per cent burns in the industrial accident at Parawada in Anakapalle district on August 23.

All the four injured were shifted to a private hospital in Vizag, where Roya Angira (22) died while availing treatment on August 24.
