The flu season is almost here, and doctors are saying that we should be prepared in advance and take a vaccine to prevent the flu. Doctors are divided over its effectiveness against covid. “These shots can protect against influenza viruses but cannot offer any protection against covid-19," a doctor tells Bangalore Mirror. "If flu infections occur along with covid-19, the mortality rate becomes higher. We may avoid such co-infections by timely vaccinations," says another.
