CBSE: Class 10, 12 board exam results to be out after May 20th, official CBSE announcement out at cbseresults.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2024 soon. Students who have appeared in the CBSE Board Class 10, 12 Exams 2024 will be able to check and download the same from the official website at cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in. This year, the CBSE Class 10 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, whereas the Class 12 exams were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Both examinations took place in a single shift i.e., from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM on all days.

This year, exams were undertaken by a total of 39 lakh students hailing from around 26 different countries. In the national capital alone, 5.80 lakh students participated in the CBSE Board exams 2024, which were conducted across 877 examination centres.

The CBSE had made the decision to permanently discontinue the tradition of announcing merit lists for the top-performing students in both Class 10th and 12th examinations. This measure aims to mitigate the prevalence of "unhealthy competition" among students.

Last year, the CBSE Class 10, 12 Results were declared on May 12, 2023. The overall pass percentage for Class 10th was recorded as 93.12%, whereas the CBSE 12th pass percentage stood at 87.33%. Last year's institution-wise performance showcases notable achievements across various educational institutions. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) achieved an impressive 97.51 percent success rate, closely followed by Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA) at 96.77 percent.
