Highlights: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 results soon. Candidates who appeared for the national-level entrance exam between May 13 and June 4 will be able to check and download their results from the official website — cuet.nta.nic.in.

This year's examination saw participation from lakhs of students across the country, aspiring to secure admissions into various undergraduate programmes offered by central, state, and other participating universities for the academic year 2025–26. The final answer key, which plays a critical role in result calculation, has already been published by NTA on July 1, marking the final step before the announcement of results.

Final answer key released; 27 questions dropped
NTA's final answer key reflects significant updates. A total of 27 questions across various subjects and examination dates have been dropped. As per the official notification, all candidates will be awarded five marks for each of these dropped questions, irrespective of whether they attempted the question or not.

Additionally, in cases where more than one option has been identified as correct in a particular question, candidates who selected any one of the correct options will be given five marks. These measures aim to ensure fairness and accuracy in the scoring process.

Provisional key released earlier; grievances accepted till June 20
The provisional CUET UG 2025 answer key was made available on June 17. Candidates were allowed to raise objections and submit their representations until June 20. The final answer key was then compiled after reviewing all the feedback received from test-takers.

Normalisation of scores for multi-shift exams
As CUET UG 2025 was conducted in multiple shifts and sessions, the raw marks obtained by candidates will be normalised to calculate the NTA score. This method ensures parity and fairness in scoring, accounting for any variations in difficulty levels across different shifts.

NTA score valid for one academic session
The NTA score derived from CUET UG 2025 will be valid exclusively for admission to the academic session 2025–26. Students are advised to use their scores accordingly when applying to universities under the CUET framework.

Step 1: Visit the official NTA CUET UG website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link that reads “CUET UG 2025 Result” available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth, and security PIN as required.
Step 4: Click on the “Submit” button to view your result.
Step 5: Download and save the result for future reference, and take a printout if needed.
