CBSE 10th result 2026: How to check CBSE class 10 result 2026 and access digital documents The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 10 results for the 2025–26 academic session, making them available through multiple digital platforms. Students can access their marks online as well as through mobile applications supported by government services. The Board has enabled result access through official websites, mobile apps, and its digital academic repository to ensure smooth availability for lakhs of students across India and abroad.
Websites to access the result Students can check their results through several official portals. These include the CBSE website, the National Informatics Centre results portal, DigiLocker results portal, and the UMANG platform. These portals host the results with technical support from government agencies.
To view the result, students are required to enter their roll number, school number, and admit card details as specified on their hall ticket.
Access through mobile applications CBSE has also facilitated result access through mobile applications. Students can download the DigiLocker app or the UMANG app on Android and iOS devices.
Through DigiLocker, students can not only check their results but also download digital copies of their mark sheets, migration certificates, and skill certificates where applicable.
Digital documents and repository system The Board has uploaded digital academic documents on its repository system known as Parinam Manjusha. Students can log in using their credentials or security PIN provided by schools to access these documents.
Schools have also been given access to download students’ records directly from the repository. For students studying abroad, access has been extended through the DigiLocker portal and support systems.
Important instructions for students Students are advised to ensure that their DigiLocker accounts are activated using the PIN issued by their schools. They may also use Aadhaar-based login for access.
Printed mark sheets and passing certificates will be issued later through schools after the second phase of board examinations.
Students seeking re-evaluation or verification of marks will be able to apply online after the second examination phase. Facilities include obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets and requesting rechecking.

A total of 24,71,777 students appeared for the examination out of 24,83,479 registered candidates. Among them, 23,16,008 students passed. The Board evaluated approximately 1.63 crore answer sheets in a compressed schedule, enabling the early declaration.
Overall performance and pass percentage trends The overall pass percentage of 93.70% marks a marginal increase from last year’s 93.66%. The number of students placed in the compartment category stood at 1,47,172, accounting for 5.95% of candidates.
Girls recorded a pass percentage of 94.99%, while boys achieved 92.69%. Transgender candidates recorded a pass percentage of 87.50%. In terms of high scorers, 2,21,574 students secured 90% and above, while 55,368 students scored above 95%.
Region-wise performance and top performing areas Among regions, Trivandrum and Vijayawada jointly recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.79%, followed by Chennai at 99.58% and Bengaluru at 98.91%. Delhi also showed strong performance, with Delhi West recording 97.45% and Delhi East 97.33%, leading to an overall Delhi pass percentage of 97.38%.
Other regions such as Pune (96.66%), Ahmedabad (96.61%) and Ludhiana (95.70%) also reported high success rates, while Guwahati recorded the lowest at 85.32%.
Institutional and category-wise results Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas recorded a pass percentage of 99.42%, while Kendriya Vidyalayas slightly exceeded that at 99.57%. Independent schools reported 93.77%, while government and government-aided schools recorded 91.43% and 91.01% respectively.
Candidates with special needs registered a pass percentage of 96.24%, with 9,088 students clearing the examination out of 9,443 who appeared.
Examination scale and operational details The examination was conducted across 8,074 centres in 27,339 schools. A total of 84 subjects were offered, and over 2 lakh invigilators were deployed. More than 1,04,495 classrooms were utilised for conducting the exams.
On a single day, February 21, 2026, the Board conducted examinations for 24,95,022 candidates, marking the largest single-day test administration.
Policy changes and examination structure This year, CBSE implemented a dual examination system in line with the National Education Policy. Students appeared for the first phase in February–March, while a second phase is scheduled for May. Students were required to appear in at least three subjects in the main examination.
The Board confirmed that no merit list has been issued, and no divisions have been awarded. Merit certificates will be provided to the top 0.1% of students after the second examination phase.
