NTA NCET 2026 registration begins at nta.ac.in: Check direct link to apply and key dates here
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026. The exam is being conducted for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2026-27.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NTA website at nta.ac.in.
The NCET 2026 is being held for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme, which is offered by selected central and state universities, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs), and government colleges.
The programme is a dual major course, where the first major is Education and the second major is a school-specific subject.

Candidates who qualify in NCET 2026 will take part in the counselling and admission process conducted by the respective participating universities and institutions. The counselling schedule will be announced separately by the institutions.

- February 12, 2026 to March 10, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)
- March 11, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)

- April 17, 2026 (Friday)

NCET 2026 exam details
- The NCET 2026 will be conducted in 13 languages
- The exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode
- The duration of the examination will be three hours

- Click on the NCET 2026 registration link
- Register using a valid email address and mobile number
- Fill in the application form carefully
- Upload the required documents
- Pay the application fee online
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page
