PSEB 8th Class Result 2026 Live Updates: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is expected to announce the Class 8 result 2026 in the first week of April, continuing its usual schedule of releasing outcomes in April each year. Students who appeared for the annual examination will be able to access their scorecards online through the official portal once the result link is activated.

The Class 8 board examinations were conducted from February 17, 2026, to February 27, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode across Punjab. Practical examinations were held earlier, between February 2 and February 12. More than 2.9 lakh students from across the state participated in the annual examination process.

In 2025, the result was declared on April 4 at 3:30 PM, while in 2024, it was released on April 30. Marks structure and evaluation system
Each subject in the Class 8 examination carries 100 marks, divided into 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system. The total marks for all six subjects amount to 600.

Students are required to secure at least 33% marks in each subject, including both theory and internal assessment, to pass the examination. The grading system ranges from A+ for scores between 91% and 100% to grade D for scores at or below 40%.
