UK Board Result 2026 Out Live Updates: Akshat Gopal, Geetika Pant top; Class 10 at 92.10%, Class 12 pass percentage 85.11%

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) declared the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results today, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, bringing an end to the wait for more than two lakh students who appeared in the state board examinations this year. The results were released by Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and Board Chairman Dr. Mukul Sati in the presence of Board Secretary Vinod Prasad Simulti, along with publication of the official result booklet.

According to the board, students can check their results online through the official portals ubse.uk.gov.in and uaresults.nic.in by entering their roll numbers. Alongside the main annual examination results, the board has also declared results of the second improvement examination of 2026.

More than two lakh students appeared this year

A total of 215,252 students registered for the Uttarakhand Board examinations this year. Of them, 112,266 students appeared in Class 10 examinations, while 102,986 students took the Class 12 examinations.

The Class 10 pass percentage has been recorded at 92.10 per cent, with girls registering 96.07 per cent and boys 88.03 per cent. In Class 12, the overall pass percentage stands at 85.11 per cent, including 88.09 per cent among girls and 81.93 per cent among boys.

The board examinations were conducted from February 21 to March 20 across centres in the state. With evaluation completed earlier, the board finalised arrangements for result declaration and publication.

The result announcement also included release of the state toppers’ list. In Class 10, Akshat Gopal of Ramnagar, Nainital, topped the state with 98.20 per cent marks. In Class 12, Geetika Pant of Bageshwar and Sushila Mehandiratta of Udham Singh Nagar emerged joint toppers with 98 per cent marks.

District and merit performance in focus

District-wise Intermediate performance figures released with the results showed Bageshwar secured first position in the state with a 94.81 per cent result.

The merit list carries names of top-ranking candidates, marks secured and rankings obtained in both examinations. The state government is expected to honour top-performing students.

New school-based result access introduced

In a new arrangement introduced this year, students can also access results directly at their schools in addition to checking them online. The board issued unique portals and passwords to institutions under this system.

Students were able to view results within school premises through school-level portals, apart from the public websites activated at 10:00 AM.

Passing rules and DigiLocker facility

Students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject to pass. In subjects with theory and practical components, qualifying separately in both sections remains mandatory. Grace marks provisions continue under applicable rules.

Students can also download digital mark sheets through DigiLocker. With results declared, attention has turned to pass percentages, district performance trends and the newly released merit rankings.
