UP Board 10th 12th Result 2026 Date and Time Live Updates: Over 52 lakh students await UPMSP Class 10, 12 scores; check official websites, steps to download marksheets

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is expected to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination results for the 2026 academic session soon. The board has not yet confirmed the exact date and time of announcement, but an official update is expected shortly. Following previous trends, both Class 10 and Class 12 results are likely to be released together and likely by the end of April.

Evaluation process completed

UPMSP has successfully completed the evaluation of answer sheets for the 2026 board examinations. Nearly 3 crore answer sheets of more than 52 lakh students were assessed between March 18 and April 1, 2026. Around 1.5 lakh teachers were deployed across over 250 evaluation centres. In the first two days alone, more than 21 lakh answer sheets were evaluated.

Earlier, the board had extended the evaluation deadline to April 4, 2026. The extension was granted after delays caused by public holidays including Eid-ul-Fitr on March 21 and Ram Navami on March 26 and 27. Several evaluation centres requested additional time, following which the board approved the extension.

Exam schedule and student participation

The UP Board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 were conducted between February 18 and March 12, 2026 in offline mode. Exams were held in two shifts, morning from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and afternoon from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Before the theory exams, practical examinations were conducted in January and early February in multiple phases.

This year, more than 52 lakh students registered for the examinations, while approximately 49.4 lakh students appeared.

Passing criteria and compartment exams

Students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject and overall to pass the examination. Candidates failing in more than two subjects will have to appear for compartment examinations. Schools were instructed to upload Class 12 internal assessment marks by March 25, 2026.

How to check result

Students can check their results through official websites including upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. Results will also be available via DigiLocker, the Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG), and the Times of India result portal.

Important advisory

UPMSP has also issued a cyber fraud warning, advising students not to trust calls or messages claiming early access to results. Along with results, the board will release toppers list, gender-wise performance, district-wise data, and key statistics.
