Sipajhar Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Highlights: BJP's Paramananda Rajbongshi beats Congress' Binanda Kumar Saikia
Paramananda Rajbongshi (Bharatiya Janata Party), Binanda Kumar Saikia (Congress), Mun Kumar Deka (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), and Harjyoti Buddha (Independent) — 4 candidates contesting from Sipajhar in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Sipajhar is a General constituency under the Mangaldoi Lok Sabha segment, with 182,761 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Paramananda Rajbongshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 7,134 votes. The 2016 winner was Binanda Kumar Saikia of the BJP. The 2021 turnout was 83.58%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Sipajhar in 2026.
