Dev, Mimi shoot for Yoddha Durga Puja song

Dev has done it once before, but for Mimi Chakraborty shooting a Durga Puja song sequence for the first time was a refreshing experience. The song, Ebar jeno onno rokom pujo, was shot recently for Raj Chakrabarty’s Yoddha.Adil choreographed the sequence.

“It’s a promotional song for the film that is slated for a Puja release, and the whole set up, including the Ma Durga idol, gave me a feeling that I am at a pandal. Moreover, the choreography covers every ritual of Durga puja, right from dhunuchi naach to anjali. I am in love with the dance steps! The lal par sada gorod is so apt for this song! It’s also a must buy for me this year,” Mimi said.

Dev, whose previous Puja song Dhaker tale komor dole from Poran Jai Jolia Re was a huge hit, is hoping for a repeat, as this tune is very catchy too. “Dhunor gondho, Ma durgar murti, the whole atmosphere on the sets was about Puja. I told Raj that the song is apt as it will add a Puja flavour to the film,” Dev said with a smile.
