Many celebs shot to fame with their negative roles and even started being recognised by their villainous character names from films. So much is their popularity that sometimes audience even walks into theatres just to watch their favourite villains on the big-screen. Likewise, even in Bhojpuri cinema, many actors have been applauded for their negative characters in films. And so, we look at the most feared Bhojpuri villains from Shakti Kapoor to Awdhesh Mishra.

Shakti Kapoor, who is known for his villainous characters in Indian cinema, has also played negative roles in several Bhojpuri films. The rapist, the gangster, the comic, he has played them all with immense talent. He established himself as a villain when two of his Bollywood movies 'Qurbani' and 'Rocky' became blockbusters. Later, he appeared in the Hindi films 'Himmatwala' and 'Hero' that positioned him as one of the most sought-after villains. In Bhojpuri, he has played memorable negative characters in ‘Golmaal Ba Bhaiyya’, ‘Janam Janam Ke Saath’, ‘Hum Hai Hero Hindustani’ and ‘Ankhiyan Ladiye Gail’.

Awdhesh Mishra started his acting career in 2005 as a villain in the Bhojpuri movie ‘Dulha Aisan Chahi’ directed by Sunil Sinha. His performance was highly praised by critics and the audience. He has also appeared as a villain in the Bollywood film 'Dirty Politics'. He played a villain in several hit Bhojpuri films like 'Devra Bada Satawela', 'Dulaara', 'Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna', 'Damru', 'Dulhan Ganga Paar Ke', 'Bairi Kangana 2' and 'Sangharsh'.

Popular actor Ashok Samarth has worked in Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri films. He made his acting debut in 2005 with the movie 'Insan'. Since then, he has been featured in some famous Hindi movies like 'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local', 'Singham', 'R... Rajkumar' and the Bhojpuri films 'Patna Se Pakistan', ‘Balam Ji Love You’ and ‘Sher Singh’. Ashok played a villain in Dinesh Lal Yadav and Amrapali Dubey starrer 'Patna Se Pakistan'.

Sanjay Pandey is mainly known for his negative roles in Bhojpuri films. He made his Bhojpuri debut with superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav and Pakhi Hegde in 'Deewana'. He is popularly known for his negative roles in Bhojpuri movies like 'Khuddar', 'Nirahua Hindustani 3', 'Balamua Tohre Khatir', 'Gangster Dulhania' and 'Dil Ta Pagal Hola'.

Manoj Tiger started his Bhojpuri career in 2009 with the film 'Deewana'. Apart from his negative roles, he is also known for his comic timing and has received awards for his acting talent. Manoj is known for his roles in movies like 'Rani Chali Sasural', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Khuddar', 'Qahar', 'Munna Mawali' and 'Balamua Tohre Khatir’.
