Bhojpuri film 'Jaanam' is an action-romantic drama starring Khesari Lal Yadav, Rani Chatterjee, Poonam Dubey and Viraj Bhatt in pivotal roles. In the film, Poonam has been paired opposite Viraj while Rani was seen romancing Khesari. Khesari and Viraj performed some great action scenes. It was helmed by Ajay Kumar Jha while produced by Durga Prasad Majumdar and Anuj Kumar. The story of the film was written by Arvind Tiwari and co-produced by Mahesh Upadhyay. The songs for 'Jaanam' were penned by Pyarelal Yadav, Azaad Singh and Arvind Tiwari while the music was composed by Avinash Jha.

Ravi Kishan, Smriti Sinha, Poonam Dubey were seen in a love triangle in 'Yeh Mohabbatein'. It was a romantic drama directed by Anand D Gahatraj and produced by Arun Tiwari and Ashutosh Shukla. The movie also featured Awadhesh Mishra, who is popularly known for his negative characters. The story of the film was written by Kundan Shukla while it was composed by Vijay Samrat.

In the film, 'Chana Jor Garam', Poonam Dubey played the role of Naagin, a shapeshifting serpent. The story of the film is about a love triangle between humans and a Naagin, which is inspired by Indian TV shows and a few Bollywood movies. 'Chana Jor Garam' was directed by Ritesh Thakur and featured other Bhojpuri stars like Pramod Premi and Neha Shree in pivotal roles. 'Chana Jor Garam' also marked the acting debut of Bhojpuri singer Pramod Premi.

‘Munna Mawali’ is a love triangle that revolves around Pramod Premi, Poonam Dubey and Anjana Singh. Poonam was seen as a modern girl, who also flaunts her amazing dance moves in an item song. This action-romantic-drama was directed by Ravi Sinha and produced by Pappu Pandey. Other Bhojpuri stars Manoj Tiger, Nagesh Mishra and Ayaz Khan were also seen in supporting roles.
