Brooke Hogan says dad Hulk Hogan’s docuseries misses out on a lot of things; ‘I feel like I was living in an alternate universe'

The late Hulk Hogan’s latest docuseries, ‘Hulk Hogan: The Real American,' explores all parts of the famed wrestler and star’s life. This includes parts of his career, along with his family members. However, from the time of its release, many fans and netizens have been left wondering about how and why his only daughter, Brooke Hogan, was not a part of the documentary. Now, in a recent interview, his daughter opened up about her exclusion from the series, along with all the problems she has with it in the first place.Recently, while talking to the host of the online podcast show ‘The Bubba the Love Sponge Show,' Brooke opened up about how and why she was not included in the documentary. She also shared what all she thought the show ended up getting wrong about her father as well.Talking about the matter, she shared that “[It] captured every single moment of his career… it was definitely a showcase piece; in my opinion, it was missing about 98% of critical real-life factual information.” She shared that the docuseries was unable to cover a lot of things that were crucial to her father’s life and legacy. Calling the series “glossed over," she further added that “I feel like I was living in an alternate universe… I didn’t realize this is how it went down.”Brooke also felt that the issues that her father went through, including the drugs and the steroids, were something that were framed in the show as if they were something new. She cited that the narrative was completely changed in the way the series was presented, adding that these issues were well-known to the public for quite some time now.The docuseries also included Hogan’s last interview that he gave a while before his passing last year at the age of 71. It had been long known that Brooke and her father did not see eye to eye and had been estranged for quite some time. Not only that, but she was also not included in his final will, leaving his son Nick as the sole heir of his legacy.
