In a recent post, the star revealed that after visiting the doctors, he found out that he had a type of cancer.

Bruce Campbell reveals that he has cancer

Taking to his social media account, the star shared the news with his fans that he has a non-curable yet treatable form of cancer. He shared a photo of himself taken from behind as he stands in a field of grass, as he shared the news.His post further read, “The good news is, I’m not gonna go into any more detail. I’m posting this, because professionally, a few things will have to change – appearances and cons and work in general, need to take a back seat to treatment. My plan is to get as well as I possibly can over the summer so that I can tour with my new movie ‘Ernie & Emma’ this fall.”He also shared that he will have to cancel a lot of events and cons that he had been planning on attending because of the cancer treatment. He did not share what form of cancer he has been diagnosed with; however, he did state that he wanted to be public with the information as he did not wish for their to be any false information about his health.
He concluded his post by sharing, “Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-b****, and I have great support, so I expect to be around a while. As always, you’re the greatest fans in the world and I hope to see you soon!”

On the work front

On the work front, the 67-year-old actor was last seen in the film, ‘Ernie & Emma.’ Other than that, he is also working as an executive producer in ‘Evil Dead Burn’, an upcoming film from the ‘Evil Dead’ franchise. It is scheduled to be released on July 24, 2026.
