During the session, he also talked about how he starred in ‘Wall Street’ and how he landed the role in the first place. He revealed that before landing the role, he found that Warren Beatty and Richard Gere both had accepted the role on Oliver Stone’s film, but had then ended up passing on the opportunity.
Douglas has stepped away from acting and has often expressed his desire not return to acting anytime soon. During his appearance last year in July at the press conference at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the actor revealed that he did not wish to return to acting.
