Famed actress Shoshana Bean has finally received her rightfully awaited Tony Award! After being nominated twice already, however, losing out on the chances, Bean officially graced the stage at the 2026 Tony Awards and accepted the title for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

Shoshana Bean scores her first Tony Award of her career

As the awards rolled around over the weekend, Bean was called on stage to accept her award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. The star was in ‘The Lost Boys’, for which she ended up receiving the award. She played the role of Lucy Emerson in the Broadway musical.While on stage, she accepted the award and gave her family members a big shoutout for being one of the reasons behind her success. She added, “It’s the most singular gift of my career. I will never stop screaming about how special this combination of humans is.”She further stated in her speech that “This is for the incredible army of women that surround and uplift me. This is for every woman who ever felt like she was too much or not enough. I beg you not to wait for permission to be all of who you are. Take up space, make your own path, make mistakes, make messes, make new things, be free, be loud, be brave, and stay [bleep]."
‘The Lost Boys’ was her big return to the stage, and it even got her a Tony Award, after she had lost out on two prior nominations. She is best known for her work in ‘Hell's Kitchen’ and ‘Mr. Saturday Night.’ She beat out many other talented candidates which included Hannah Cruz, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, and Nichelle Lewis.

A reimagined version of Joel Schumacher's 1987 cult classic film of the same name, ‘The Lost Boys’ has been a big success at Broadway. The drama is set around the life of a single mom of two boys, who has usurped her life, and shifts to an unknown town in California.
