Upcoming OTT releases of the week - Happy Gilmore 2, The Sandman Season 2 Volume 2, and more

OTT platforms are preparing their fresh releases as the week begins. With action-packed movies to emotional dramas, they have it all. Here’s a list of number of titles dropping this week on your favourite streaming service.

'Happy Gilmore 2' is the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 sports comedy 'Happy Gilmore', starring Adam Sandler as the aggressive, hockey-loving golfer who turns the golf world upside down. 29 years after winning his first Tour Championship, retired golfer Happy Gilmore returns to the sport to play for his daughter Vienna's ballet school. The sequel will be available to watch on Netflix on 25th July 2025.

Based on Neil Gaiman’s beloved graphic novel, the second season of 'The Sandman' picks up right after the season one ending. As Morpheus attempts to bring the Dreaming back to its former splendor while battling existential threats from previous foes and his complicated relationships with the Endless siblings, Death, Desire, and Delirium, season 2 explores popular storylines, including Season of Mists, in which Dream sets out on a difficult journey to Hell and eventually faces Lucifer Morningstar. The final season’s second volume will release on 24th July 2025, on Netflix.

Judge Judy Sheindlin and her skilled legal team recreate the trials from well-known cases where obeying the letter of the law did not always feel "just," putting the American legal system on trial in a high-stakes, true crime courtroom drama. Season 1 covers a case where the convicted murderer is presently on Death Row, as well as the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial. The interesting show would be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video on 21st July 2025.

The docu-series is returning for the awaited second season. Where the first season saw the dark secrets of the Duggar family, this one will tackle the rise and fall of Teen Mania, the once–hugely popular Evangelical group behind the touring “Acquire the Fire” stadium shows. Oscar-nominated Crip Camp documentarian Nicole Newnham and Emmy winner Cori Shepherd Stern will examine the way Teen Mania allegedly used high-pressure tactics and even psychological manipulation to ensure teens at their shows signed purity oaths and pledged their time to the group’s global missions. The awaited and interesting series will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from 23rd July 2025.
