While many reports have shared that the police are not entirely considering David as a suspect in Celeste Rivas’ murder case, an old photo of the idol has been going viral for his alleged connection to the late teen. Read on to know more about the case.

Celeste Rivas was found earlier this year in the trunk of an abandoned car. Singer D4vd, at the time was heavily involved in the case due to the fact that the car in which she was found was registered to him. Not only that, but one of his places of rented residencies was also near the crime scene as well.





While there have been multiple updates from the police about whether the singer is being considered a suspect or not, an old photo of the two has now gone viral. Shared by Daily Mail, the photo, which shows D4vd, standing in front of a woman whose face is mostly covered. The photo was taken by Maxamillion in 2024 at a party.

While there has been no confirmation about whether the woman in the photo is 15 year old Rivas or not, netizens online have been speculating about the similarities the anonymous woman shares with the now deceased teenager.

TMZ also quoted that many people who were present at the party confirmed that the two were together. This report has been shared on multiple occasions for various parties in the LA district.

As per the latest updates shared by the police, Rivas’ official cause of death has not yet been made public. The singer has also not shared any official statement regarding the matter, though most of his future schedules remain cancelled until further notice due to the nature of the case. D4vd has not yet officially been named as a person of suspect in the investigation.

Other than that, the owners of the home that the ‘Here With Me’ singer was renting at the time of the teen’s demise have hired private investigator Steve Fischer. During his appearance on the show ‘Eyewitness News’, he shared that he was hired by the homeowners in order to get down to the truth and understand what role their home may have had in the case. He further stated that, "[(Authorities) are probably relying on toxicology to better understand what happened, which means it could be an accidental overdose with a really bad decision made afterwards."
