NCB has summoned Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the drugs on cruise case, for questioning tomorrow

In the wake of a letter tweeted by Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik about various allegations including extortion against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), its Deputy Director General Mutha Ashok Jain on Tuesday said they will take necessary action into the matter. Malik earlier in the day said he is forwarding a letter written by 'someone in NCB about the various illegal activities of (Sameer) Wankhede' to the agency's DG S N Pradhan.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has filed its reply before Bombay high court to oppose Aryan Khan’s bail application saying that investigation so far “has revealed an international drug connection’’ of his, it is being investigated and sufficient time as per protocol is needed to properly unearth such link. It also said possibility of him tampering with witnesses and fleeing cannot be ruled out. Besides, it is not possible to dissect Aryan Khan from the “large conspiracy, common thread and drug network which is under investigation.’’
