‘Dhurandhar’ OTT release: When and where to stream Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna led blockbuster spy-thriller

With both its critical acclaim and commercial success, 'Dhurandhar', directed by Aditya Dhar, released on December 5, 2025, continues to perform well at the box office even after a month of its theatrical release. According to Sacnilk, the film has grossed Rs 829.40 crore in India, putting it among the most successful commercial films of the year. When and where to watch ‘Dhurandhar’

According to an OTTplay report, ‘Dhurandhar’ is set to premiere online soon. The Ranveer Singh-led thriller is expected to start streaming on Netflix from January 30, allowing audiences to revisit the espionage drama from home.

Trade analysts suggest that the filmmakers deliberately delayed the digital release to ensure the film extracted maximum value from its theatrical run. A report by 123Telugu indicates that the makers had earlier considered releasing dubbed versions of ‘Dhurandhar’ in South Indian markets. However, with the Christmas season witnessing a packed theatrical lineup, viable release windows were reportedly unavailable. Consequently, plans for a dubbed theatrical rollout were shelved, and attention shifted to an OTT-first strategy.

The digital deal surrounding ‘Dhurandhar’ has also generated significant buzz within the film trade. According to Sacnilk, the makers have secured one of the most high-value OTT agreements for a Hindi film to date. Netflix has reportedly acquired the streaming rights for both ‘Dhurandhar’ and its upcoming sequel ‘Dhurandhar 2’, slated for a 2026 release, as part of a combined agreement worth approximately Rs 130 crore.



The deal is being viewed as a landmark moment in Ranveer Singh’s career, further underlining his box-office pull and growing influence in the digital space.

Meanwhile, at the box office, the film that is on it 50th day, has hit an impressive net collection of Rs 830.5 crore.
