‘Dhurandhar’ star Sara Arjun opens up on her most 'euphoric' moment, reveals how her parents reacted after watching the film
Sara Arjun is currently enjoying a wave of appreciation following the success of ‘Dhurandhar’. The 20-year-old actor, who portrayed Yalina Jamali opposite Ranveer Singh, has been receiving widespread praise for her performance. Even as the film continues to make headlines, Sara has shifted focus to promoting her upcoming Telugu project ‘Euphoria’, directed by Gunashekhar.
In a recent conversation with Suma Kanakala, Sara Arjun opened up about what she considers the most ‘euphoric’ day of her life. Recalling the emotional moment, she revealed that it was the day her parents watched her performance in ‘Dhurandhar’ and were moved to tears. “There was a day when both my parents were crying tears of joy because of something I did. So that’s my most euphoric day ever. It meant a lot to me."
When asked whether the moment was connected to her academic achievements, Sara responded, “Not at all." On being further prompted if it had anything to do with ‘Dhurandhar’, she confirmed with a simple, “Yes." The clip from the interview has since gone viral across social media platforms.
“After Ponniyin Selvan, I went to boarding school, and then my initial plan was to go abroad to study film and acting. But then while I was giving my boards, I signed Magic. And then right after I came out again I was sticking to my plan. But when Euphoria came to me it was so tempting to do. As a human I felt this urge to be a part of a story like this. After PS2 it was Magic, then Euphoria and then Dhurandhar. In fact, I signed Dhurandhar while shooting for Euphoria."
