How Karisma Kapoor is coping as her children Samaira and Kiaan drag stepmother Priya Sachdev to court over Sunjay Kapur's Rs 30,000 crore estate

Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved the Delhi High Court against their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, demanding a share in Rs 30,000 crore estate of their late father, Sunjay Kapur. The siblings have alleged that Priya forged Sunjay’s will, claiming that the purported document is neither legal nor valid.

According to their petition, neither the original nor a copy of the alleged will has been shared with them. They, therefore, requested the court to provide them with a copy of the said document. On Wednesday (September 10), the High Court asked Priya to declare all assets of Sunjay Kapur. The matter has been listed for its next hearing on October 10.

Karisma remains unaffected by the controversy

Even as the legal battle intensifies, Karisma Kapoor has chosen not to let the controversy affect her. An source told Hindustan Times that the actress is fully immersed in her professional commitments.

“At the moment, Karisma is in Mumbai and totally focused on her work. She is not letting the controversy surrounding her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur’s estate impact her professional life,” the source claimed.

‘The show must go on’

Karisma recently made an appearance on the dance reality show Super Dancer 5. During the episode, she shared a light-hearted behind-the-scenes story from the sets of Yash Chopra’s cult classic Dil Toh Pagal Hai, much to the delight of the contestants and audience. The source added, “Karisma is fulfilling her professional commitment as usual. She even travelled for an event recently. And she intends to continue to do that. Because the show must go on.”
