Jaaved Jaaferi gives his STANCE on Ranveer Singh-Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3' CONTROVERSY, ‘I am not his secretary’

The Don 3 controversy involving Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar has now caught the attention of Jaaved Jaaferi. The veteran actor, however, made it clear that he prefers not to interfere in matters that don't concern him personally, adding that he is confident the matter will be resolved soon.Speaking to IANS when asked about the issue, Jaaved said, "I don't even know what kind of controversy it is. I should focus on my work. What should I do in this controversy? Neither am I Ranveer Singh's secretary, nor am I any producer or director. So what will I do? All I know is that he is a good friend and does good work. Whatever has happened will be sorted out."Ranveer’s rumored exit from ‘Don 3’ has kept the entertainment world buzzing for weeks now. The matter has grown big enough to draw the attention of industry bodies, while also triggering a heated debate within Bollywood circles.For those unaware, the whole controversy kicked off when reports surfaced that Ranveer had walked away from Farhan Akhtar's highly anticipated action franchise ‘Don 3’.After Ranveer’s reported exit, Farhan Akhtar's production house Excel Entertainment allegedly stated that a significant amount of pre-production work had already been completed for ‘Don 3’.The situation took a serious turn when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a non-cooperation notice against Ranveer Singh following a complaint linked to his reported exit from the film. However, in a major development, FWICE recently withdrew the directive after the Producers Guild of India, CINTAA and other industry bodies stepped in to mediate.Adding another layer to the controversy, reports revealed that Ranveer had taken the legal route in response to the situation, after which both sides came together to sort things out amicably.
