Sakshi Khanna is the youngest son of the late legendary actor Vinod Khanna from his second wife, Kavita Khanna. He was born on May 12, 1991, in Mumbai. The star kid has worked in various fields of the entertainment industry. He has assisted in movies while also working as an actor. He even went on to explore spirituality. He is the half-brother of Akshaye Khanna and Rahul Khanna. He also has a sister, Shraddha Khanna.

Being from the film family, he always leaned towards movies. Reportedly, he worked as an assistant director in films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' and Milan Luthria's 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara'. He then tried his hand at acting as well. He featured in several independent projects and short films.

As per the Indian Express report, he was set to debut with a Milan Luthria film; however, it didn't see the light of day. At that time, the filmmaker had said, "Sakshi is immensely talented, and the role is complex. So there is a lot of homework that he requires to do over the next few months."
