Sequel expected to continue story after 15 years of the sequel moves forward, it is expected to pick up from where the original story ended. Reports suggest the narrative will be set around 15 years after the events of the first film. The original movie followed the journey of three friends navigating life at an engineering college and beyond. Even years after its release, it continues to be widely loved by audiences. The comedy film received immense critical and commercial success upon its release in 2009 and won multiple honours, including awards at the 57th National Film Awards.
