Every once in a while we regret something we have done personally or professionally. However, when it comes to Bollywood celebs, all regrets are magnified for the whole world to see. And some have accepted that and spoken openly about it. From Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan to Katrina Kaif, here’s taking a look at actors who publicly regretted doing certain films.

Saif Ali Khan is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. However, even he has been a part of movies that he is not very proud of. In an interview with the Times of India, Saif had shared that doing the Sajid Khan directorial ‘Humshakals’ was a mistake.

He was quoted saying, "The film was very regressive. In fact, while watching it, I asked myself what I was doing in it. I knew I had let my fans down and underestimated their intelligence. I've been introspecting a lot and will never repeat the mistake that was ‘Humshakals’".

Right from his debut film ‘Ishq Vishq’ to his last film, ‘Kabir Singh’, Shahid Kapoor has had an impressive filmography. However, when the actor was asked if he regrets doing certain films, he couldn’t hold back.

Replying to the question, in a throwback interview with a news portal, Shahid stated that his film, ‘Shaandaar’ is at the top of the list. He also revealed that he didn't want to do ‘Chup Chup Ke’, and during ‘Waah! Life Ho To Aisi’, he thought it was trying to be an international film, but they didn’t have the kind of expertise to do that kind of computer graphics.

Not many know that Katrina Kaif made her big Bollywood debut with a film named, ‘Boom’. While the actress was heavily criticised for her role in the film, she also personally regretted being a part of the movie.

In an earlier interview with the Times of India, Katrina said, “When I signed the film, I was not aware of the Indian culture and tradition. Had I known that aspect of India, I would not have done the film. I would not do anything like that again. And if this means that I won’t get to do films anymore, I won’t, especially if filmmakers expect me to do all the stuff that they see in ‘Boom’.

Abhay Deol is known for his acting prowess and unconventional choices. However, the actor has also been a part of films like, ‘Aisha’ starring Sonam Kapoor that he later regretted being a part of.

In a throwback interview, Abhay stated that he never wants to be a part of a film like ‘Aisha’. According to him, it had nothing to do with Jane Austen’s Emma as it was reported. When the actor was shooting, he realised that the film was more about clothes than actual acting. Abhay added that he even read reviews of the movie that praised the clothes.

Priyanka Chopra is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors we have in Bollywood. However, even the desi girl has made choices in her career that she might not be particularly proud of. The actress was a part of South superstar Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut movie, ‘Zanjeer’.

In an interview with the Times of India, the actress had revealed that she was not happy with her role in the film. Talking about it, she said, “Sometimes we make mistakes”.
