Shah Rukh Khan

Among the earliest Indian actors to receive the Golden Visa, Shah Rukh Khan shares a longstanding association with Dubai. The superstar, known for classics like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and recent hits like ‘Pathaan’ and 'Jawan', has also served as the official brand ambassador for Dubai Tourism since 2016. His global reach and deep-rooted connection with the emirate made him a natural choice for the honour. SRK will be next seen in the upcoming movie 'King', where he will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time.

Salman Khan

A frequent visitor to the UAE for events and film promotions, Salman Khan received the Golden Visa during the IIFA Weekend in Abu Dhabi in June 2022. The actor, celebrated for blockbusters such as ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’, enjoys a massive fan following across the Middle East. Salman Khan will be next seen in the movie 'Battle of Galwan', slated for release on August 14, 2026.

Kamal Haasan

With a cinematic journey spanning more than six decades, Kamal Haasan was granted the Golden Visa in July 2022. The legend behind pathbreaking films like ‘Nayakan’ and ‘Indian’ was recognised for his unparalleled contribution to Indian and global cinema. The actor is set to star in an upcoming project directed by the duo Anbariv. Additionally, he is producing a film starring Rajinikanth, which is currently seeking a new director after the exit of Sundar C.

Ranveer Singh

Recognised for his dynamic performances in films such as ‘Gully Boy’, Ranveer Singh received the Golden Visa in 2022. His pop culture influence, brand value and global appeal have extended well beyond Indian borders. The actor is currently relishing the success of his recent movie, 'Dhurandhar' and the second part, 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' will release in theatres on Eid 2026, which falls on March 19. The festive release date indicates the producers’ confidence in the film’s box office potential. The first installment premiered in December last year and received mixed reactions.

National Award-winning actor Kriti Sanon, acclaimed for her performance in ‘Mimi’, was granted the Golden Visa in early 2024. The recognition highlighted her artistic achievements and expanding international visibility. The gorgeous actress was last seen in the movie 'Tere Ishq Mein' opposite Dhanush. Her upcoming movies include the anticipated sequel 'Cocktail 2' alongside Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, scheduled for release in 2026.

Popular among younger audiences for films like ‘Student of the Year’, Varun Dhawan received the Golden Visa in 2022. His consistent box office presence and youth appeal contributed to the honour. He was last seen in the war drama 'Border 2', which is the sequel of blockbuster hit 'Border' starring Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, Akshay Khanna among the lead actors.
