Salman Khan was recently seen accepting an apology from paparazzi after expressing anger over their alleged invasion of privacy during a hospital visit. The incident took place at the success party of Raja Shivaji in Mumbai on Wednesday, where photographers apologised to the actor for their behaviour a day earlier.
As Salman arrived at the event, he was surrounded by paparazzi who repeatedly said “sorry” while trying to greet him. Hearing the commotion, the actor leaned forward and gestured to ask what had happened. Once he understood that they were apologising, Salman acknowledged them and signalled that everything was alright.
The success party saw several celebrities attending the celebration, including
Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Siddharth Jadhav, Mahesh Manjrekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Sachin Khedekar, and Jitendra Joshi, among others.
Salman Khan had lashed out at paparazzi online
The apology comes after Salman publicly criticised sections of the media and paparazzi for allegedly creating chaos during his hospital visit and invading his personal space at a sensitive moment.
Taking to social media in the early hours of Wednesday morning, Salman expressed his disappointment in a strongly worded post. “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, took care to make sure that they also earn their bread and butter. But if they wanna make money from my losses, keep quiet, don’t enjoy. bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life,” he wrote.
The actor further warned against insensitive behaviour from photographers. “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena …. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga?” Salman added.
In another post, the actor wrote, “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa.”
Fans express concern over Salman’s emotional posts
Salman’s posts quickly went viral on social media, with fans and celebrities reacting strongly to his emotional outburst. While many users supported the actor and criticised invasive paparazzi culture, a section of netizens also appeared confused and worried by the tone and wording of his captions.
The superstar’s latest appearance at the Raja Shivaji success party, however, suggested that tensions had eased after the paparazzi personally apologised to him.
