Video of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna leaving theatre goes VIRAL; fan claims no Police approached actor to leave theatre

A video of actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna leaving a theatre during the screening of 'Pushpa 2' on December 4 has gone viral, sparking debate over police's alleged involvement in the incident.



According to police reports, Allu Arjun allegedly 'stayed in the theatre' despite being urged to leave due to a stampede that tragically resulted in one death and left another critically injured. Officials claim that after multiple attempts to inform the actor about the situation, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) personally approached him, urging him to exit for safety reasons. However, Arjun reportedly chose to remain until the movie was nearing its conclusion.


In contrast, a viral video shared on fan handles disputes this version of events. One unverified tweet accompanying the footage claims, “No police came to @AlluArjun and asked him to leave. Only bouncers and management told him to exit the theatre. After that, only police entered the balcony to clear the crowd.”



The clip shows Allu Arjun being escorted to an exit by his team. Before leaving, he pauses to take his wife Sneha Reddy’s hand. Rashmika Mandanna, dressed in a baby blue sweatshirt, is seen holding Sneha's hand as they made their way through the crowd.

According to police, Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav 'cleared the route inside and outside' the theatre to ensure the actor’s safe exit. During a press conference on December 10, city police commissioner C.V. Anand presented a video compilation of the stampede incident, including footage from news channels and mobile recordings. The video reportedly shows Arjun remaining in the theatre until midnight.



While Commissioner Anand refrained from commenting on the footage, he stated that the media could “draw its own conclusions.”

At 12:05 am on December 5, Allu Arjun finally exited the theatre, escorted by police personnel, including the DCP. Despite the tense situation, Arjun reportedly greeted fans on his way home, standing through the sunroof of his car to wave at the crowd gathered outside.

The incident has drawn mixed reactions from fans and the public, with some commending the actor for staying with the audience during a difficult time and others questioning conflicting accounts of the events that unfolded.
