'Why are you a director?': Emraan Hashmi praises Aryan Khan's acting skills, gives sassy reply when asked about sharing intimacy tips
Emraan Hashmi recently spoke about working on Ba**ds of Bollywood*. While he praised Aryan Khan’s direction, he also highlighted Aryan’s impressive acting skills.
In conversation with HT City's Stars In the City, Emraan said, “Aryan loves retakes; he takes a lot of retakes. The thing is, when you’re enacting something, we don’t laugh at our own joke on the set because you know, that is just very self-indulgent (laughs). But we’re just doing it the way we’re doing it, and then the audience is supposed to laugh. And yeah, I just got that reaction. Aryan loves acting out scenes. That’s the first thing I asked when I came on, I asked, ‘Why are you a director? Why don’t you become an actor?’ Maybe he’ll become an actor someday, I don’t know. But hopefully, he’s a good actor. But yeah, he also lets actors be; he shows the tonality of the scene and tells people to get their bit into it, your personality.”
The actor also gave a quirky reply when he was asked about giving intimacy tips “I charge for that. I’m very expensive," he added.
Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Emraan reacted to fans loving his cameo in the series. He said, "It was a fun scene to do… It just got the recognition and the attention that I didn’t know it was going to get, but it’s great. I’m happy for everyone who’s part of the show. It just has blown up and become this viral thing."
Elaborating further, he added, "This is the image that people used to love me for; they were missing it for a while, and then they saw a little glimpse of it, and it kind of just blew up. So yeah, it’s fun."
The actor also revealed in the interview that he wouldn't mind returning to his loverboy space, provided the right opportunity comes. "I’ve always said that I’m not serving an image or running away from something. If there’s something that comes my way, which is in a similar vein to that, I would still do it. And from the looks of it, people want to see me do it, at least. Although I don’t want to get stuck in an image, I definitely would play up that image again if I get an opportunity," he concluded.
