Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma's wedding journey

The Arpita-Aayush wedding reception saw the who's who of Bollywood in full attendance. The pictures told a heartwarming tale of how Salman greeted his not-so-close friends at the event. However, not all was as hunky dory in the party as it seemed to be. Mumbai Mirror reports that Sonakshi Sinha was seen sobbing inconsolably at the reception party after what was a loud argument with Salman Khan. The report claims that it all began when the actress went up to her Dabangg co-star for a quick selfie. Sources who were present at the party have been quoted as saying that Sonakshi's conversation angered Salman and this led to an altercation between the two. Apparently, despite her best efforts to control her tears, Sonakshi started crying inconsolably. However, the situation was brought under control when Ashwini Yardi intervened. The report quotes an onlooker as saying that after asking Sonakshi to stop crying, Ashwini took the two of them aside and asked them to dance together but they eventually moved to the adjoining hall and were seen continuing the conversation. A source close to Salman has also agreed in the report that things are not well between Salman and Sonakshi and only time will tell if the two will resolve their differences.
Let's take a look at how the wedding and reception celebrations were for the couple and their families.

Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma's wedding journey

It took three days, six tiers and seven people to accomplish the feat of making a grand wedding cake for Arpita Khan's big day, reports Mumbai Mirror. However, when the hand-painted cake that would make it to Salman Khan's sister Arpita's wedding reception was ready, Mumbai's much-loved patissier Pooja Dhingra and team decided to head to their room at Hyderabad's Falaknuma Palace to ready for the evening's celebrations. And then, rain decided to play spoilsport, the report further states. On receiving an SOS after the sudden showers that threatened to ruin the 150-kg wonder, the team rushed to the palace lawns. They found the chocolate cake layered with fondant and customised macaroons surrounded by five hotel staffers, holding up umbrellas to protect it. While a little bit of the edible paint had begun to run, it was nothing that Dhingra and Co. weren't able to fix, the report concludes.
