Salman Khan's ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ crosses Rs 300 crore in India

Salman Khan's latest release on Indo-Pak drama, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has zoomed past the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office, becoming the second Hindi film to achieve the "enviable status" after Aamir Khan's PK, reports IANS. The Kabir Khan directorial has continued its golden run at the box office while breaking various records since its release on July 17 - a day before the pious occasion of Eid. Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs 2.45 crore on Wednesday (August 5, 2015) and crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in 20 days since its release, a source said. Confirming the news, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on Twitter, "#BajrangiBhaijaan crosses Rs.300 crore in India... second film to achieve the ENVIABLE status, after #PK... second HIGHEST grosser ever. Hindi films." [sic] The film achieved the Rs 300 crore mark on August 5, the same day when Salman's 1994 blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Koun released 21 years ago. Adarsh shared, "5 Aug 1994. #HAHK releases. Creates HISTORY... 5 Aug 2015. Exactly 21 years later, #BajrangiBhaijaan too creates HISTORY, crosses Rs.300 crore. #BajrangiBhaijaan (Week 3) Friday Rs.4.11 crore, Saturday Rs.6.80 crore, Sunday Rs.9.07 crore, Monday Rs.2.75 crore, Tuesday Rs.2.63 crore, Wednesday Rs.2.45 crore. Total: Rs.300.06 crore. ATBB (all-time blockbuster)." [sic] Rajkumar Hirani's PK had minted over Rs 330 crore in India.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' to hit Rs 500 crore worldwide today?

The Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor - starrer, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is on a record breaking spree. The film has done exceptionally well and is soon going to hit the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide today (gross). According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, the movie has made around 127 crore in the overseas market after two weeks and has done a business of Rs 368 crore in terms of gross box office, in India. This will take the gross worldwide to Rs 495 crore and will hit the Rs 500 crore mark today, Friday, July 31, as further reported on Boxofficeindia.com. This Kabir Khan directorial has also taken over SS Rajamouli's Baahubali.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ beats ‘Baahubali’, celebrates Rs 400 crore worldwide collections

Bajrangi Bhaijaan seems to be on a record breaking spree. The Salman Khan-starrer, that recently broke Aamir Khan's PK's record at the box office, has now overtaken SS Rajamouli's Baahubali, reports Dnaindia.com. The report also stated that Bajrangi Bhaijaan has gone ahead to earn a humungous amount of Rs 400 crore. According to the report, the Prabhas and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer has collected Rs 385 crore worldwide (including all its versions) in about 17 days of its release, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan has already surpassed the grand total in just 10 days.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' breaks Aamir Khan's PK's record!

The magic of Salman Khan has once again worked wonders at the box-office. The first-day collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan have broken the record of Salman Khan's last year's release, Kick, and Aamir Khan's, PK. With its first weekend figures, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has broken the weekend record of Aamir's Dhoom 3 (Hindi version), which stands at Rs 97 crore, as per a report on Boxofficeindia.com. After eight days, the film's total collections stands at around Rs 190 crore nett.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has set a new record on the second Saturday, as the film made approximately Rs 19 crore nett, breaking the previous record held by PK which had grossed around Rs 17.25 crore nett.
