Bang Bang: Lesser known facts of the Hrithik-Katrina starrer

If the reports are true, the fans of adventure flick ‘Bang Bang’ can expect a sequel featuring the original jodi of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. According to reports, the makers of the film have registered the title ‘Bang Bang Reloaded’ and would try to sign Hrithik and Katrina for this as well once the script of the film is ready. For the record, ‘Bang Bang’ was the Bollywood remake of Hollywood film ‘Knight And Day’ and had performed well at the box-office. Well, looking back at the peppy dance numbers and the action sequences in the film, the superhot pairing of the ‘Kala chashma’ girl and the Greek God would surely be a treat to look forward to.

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang has already created history, with one millions views to the teaser trailer, in just 13 hours of its release online. It has set a new record, and Hrithik seemed overwhelmed with the response as he posted on micro blogging site, twitter, "Wind beneath our wings. More POWER to serve u better!" It was on the sets of Bang Bang that Hrithik Roshan faced severe injury on his head. Because of this very injury, Hrithik had to undergo a surgery and had been away from shooting for some time. However reportedly after the surgery, a body double was called on the sets of Bang Bang to perform the stunts, but Hrithik preferred to do it himself. According a report in The Times of India, an insider said that when Hrithik reached Shimla, he was not happy with the scenes so he wanted to shoot it himself. But the body doubles were available on sets all the time. A source was also further quoted saying, "Hrithik will do the action sequences on his own. The stunts are designed by Andy Armstrong who was working on 'Spider Man 2'."

Hrithik Roshan's personal life was on the rocks, with the news of him separating from his wife of thirteen years, Sussanne Roshan. It was during these tough times that Hrithik had been shooting for Bang Bang with Katrina Kaif. And reports stated that on the sets, Hrithik had found solace in friend Katrina.

While link up rumours of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif were not enough, there were talks of Kats-Ranbir Kapoor having a tiff because of Hrithik. After completing the shooting for Bang Bang, Katrina Kaif went off to shoot for Jagga Jasoos with her alleged boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. According to a report in The Times of India, Katrina pointed out that a stunt that Ranbir was performing was similar to that of Hrithik's in Bang Bang, and it seems like when the similarity was pointed out, it allegedly made Ranbir angry.

A specific sequence of the film was shot in Bangkok. According to a report in The Times of India, the team of Bang Bang was returning from an action shoot at the ocean, and the boat they were travelling on was suddenly hit by a storm. The report further stated that right in the middle of the ocean, the whole team was given instructions on how to survive at sea. In the cabin of the boat, Katrina and Hrithik were sitting along with the other cast members.

Being a top notch actress, Katrina Kaif was reported to have thrown some tantrums too on the sets of Bang Bang. According to a report in The Times of India, the team of the film was in Greece for a special photo shoot with Katrina. And they were already there to shoot some high octane sequences and reportedly had a local professional photographer at work. However the report further stated that Kats wanted her favourite lens man to click her, and finally the pictures taken were hardly of any use and video grabs had to be used instead.

Bang Bang has been subject to several delays till date. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the Kashmir schedule of Bang Bang was delayed because of unrest in the valley; the report further stated that director Siddharth had also added a snow sequence to the film, which had resulted in another delay in the schedule. Also with Hrithik's major injury the schedule had to be pushed further on. According to reports, all the delays resulted in Katrina Kaif's another film, Phantom being postponed.
