Bollywood stars who can act in foreign shows

Every actor in Bollywood brings their aura and certain elements of their personality on the big screen. After Anil Kapoor's remake of 24 for the Indian audiences, we believe other Bollywood stars are suitable for foreign TV shows as well. While they have their roots in the Indian entertainment industry, there are some characters in foreign sitcoms that we think our desi stars can do justice as well. Find out what role in popular sitcoms would best suit them...

Shah Rukh Khan as Ted Mosby: We feel Shah Rukh Khan is tailor-made to play the lead character of Ted Mosby played by Josh Radnor in the TV series How I Met Your Mother. Ted essays the role of a die-heart romantic, who lives in New York, something SRK is well versed with. King Khan's quick wit, intelligent responses and even the signature step will only add to Ted Mosby's charm. Who knows maybe he can rope in Dharma Productions to produce the same?

Salman Khan as Charlie: With his over the top hedonistic real life, only Salman Khan comes to our mind in the shoes of Charlie in Two and A Half Men played by Charlie Sheen. Although, Charlie's character has long died and been replaced by Ashton Kutcher as a young billionaire, fans of the sitcom still swear by Charlie's flamboyant lifestyle. With the delectable Salman as Charlie, no guesses then that the Que to play Rose his onscreen stalker would be longer than otherwise expected!

Saif Ali Khan as Sheldon: Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory is funny, awkward and well...more funny. Just everything that Saif Ali Khan is known for. Saif's straight faced comic timing blends in well with that of Sheldon. The Nawab has to now just become extremely comfortable throwing scientific theories in regular conversations to match up to Sheldon's IQ of 187.

Katrina Kaif as Gloria: Who would be better than Katrina Kaif to play the uber stylish and extremely beautiful Gloria in Modern Family. Sofia's curvaceous figure and that lovely dark mane finds a perfect replacement in Kat. A misfit as a Colombian in the American sitcom, Katrina can use real life instances while preparing for this role.

Aamir Khan as Oprah Winfrey: Oprah Winfrey's tear jerking, heart-wrenching moments on her talk show found an answer back home in none other than Aamir Khan. Aamir stirred similar emotions with his TV debut as the host of a show Satyamev Jayate. Apart from discussing female infanticide and alcohol addiction; we would love to see Aamir's take on reducing belly fat and giving beauty creams to the audiences too!
