From Karan Johar to Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood celebs who had kids through surrogacy

Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade who is known for his comic roles in Hindi and Marathi films has embraced fatherhood for the first time. He and his beautiful wife Deepti Talpade welcomed home a gorgeous baby girl into their lives. The happy couple became parents on May 4th through surrogacy. They heard the happy news while they were in Hong Kong for a quick vacation.

The due date of the delivery was reportedly between May 10th and 12th. Shreyas told a daily that they had planned a vacation to Hong Kong, and while on their way to the city, they learnt about the surrogate mother going into labour and delivering the baby prematurely. The couple immediately changed their plans and headed back to India.

He further quipped by saying how he feels that the baby didn’t want her parents to head for a vacation without her. When he was asked about his thoughts on what he’d like to name the baby, he revealed how his friends have been confusing him and his wife with unending suggestions.

He professed that choosing surrogacy was one of the best decisions that he has ever made in his life. Recollecting his first movie’s experience and its success, he revealed how director Nagesh Kukunoor had asked him to embrace each and every moment of his first success. He gushed and said that he is experiencing the exact same, now that he is a father to a beautiful baby girl by living every moment with her.

The recent news of Karan Johar becoming a father to two beautiful kids Roohi and Yash, has come as sheer delight to friends and fans of the filmmaker. The director-producer released an official statement to confirm the news. He stated that he’s eternally grateful to the surrogate who fulfilled his “lifelong dream and provided a warm, loving and nurturing environment to his children before bringing them into this world.”

The news of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's third child was a delightful and welcome one. The duo's youngest child AbRam was born through surrogacy in May, 2013. His cute pictures and videos are all over social media and he is much adored by the media and his followers.

Aamir and Kiran became proud parents of Azad Rao Khan in December, 2011. The superstar was quoted saying that though surrogacy was the couple's last resort at having a baby, but they never felt defensive towards it. He and his wife Kiran Rao, even spoke about their choice at length during interviews where they mentioned that they wanted to be open about embracing surrogacy to have a baby.

Sohail Khan and his gorgeous wife Seema Khan opted for surrogacy to have his younger son Yohan Khan. Sohail and Seema decided to have their second baby ten years after the birth of their first son, Nirvaan. The couple considered IVF surrogacy as an option and Yohan was born in June 2011.

Tusshar Kapoor announced the birth of his son through in-vitro fertilization and surrogacy quite recently. The actor was quoted saying that he's thrilled to be a father. "The paternal instincts in me have been overpowering my heart and mind for some time now. Therefore, I am thrilled beyond words to have Laksshya, now the greatest source of joy in my life," he shared in an interview. The actor has also congratulated new daddy Karan Johar on his new innings.
