At the recently held IIFA Awards that were held in Kuala Lumpur, Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were at their best while hosting the event. They even took digs at a few Bollywood celebs who came on the stage. According to a report on Indiaexpress.com, both Ranveer and Arjun introduced Shahid Kapoor as ‘Mr Sab ka ex'. After such an introduction, Ranveer jokingly asked Shahid whether he will invite him to his wedding, to which Shahid merrily replied saying, “No!”

They took dig at Aamir Khan: Since the time the promos of the show went on air, the curiosity to see the two friends of Bollywood - Ranveer and Arjun - on stage as hosts, soared up. Both the actors did not leave any stone unturned to make the ceremony entertaining. According to a PTI report, the Gunday actors took a dig at Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan. They sang a parody on Aamir, who had called the AIB roast 'violent' rather than 'funny'. "Hume maaf karna, O Aamir Khan. Hum kabhi nahi lenge Reema Lagoo and Farida Jalal ka naam," they sang.

Rap song of Baba Sehgal: According to a report on PTI, Ranveer and Arjun kicked off their act by apologising for their stint on the expletive-laden AIB roast, which had resulted in FIRs against both the actors. "We did something which offended many people. The gig involved us and a very famous director (Karan Johar). Many people said many things about it and an FIR was also lodged against us. Politicians were angry," the duo said before jokingly adding, "We are very sorry about Gunday." The report further mentioned that the two even turned rappers on stage with Baba Sehgal's song ‘Meri baatein sun ke tum hasna nahi,’ where they poked fun at politicians and Aamir's reaction to the infamous show.

Jokes on ‘Roy’: From making fun of Aamir Khan's stand against the controversial comedy show AIB Roast and breaking down into impromptu jigs to flirting with actor Deepika Padukone, the IIFA hosts, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, showcased their mad side at the award function. According to PTI, the two stars, who made a grand entry on the stage with a pun on the film Karan Arjun, greeted the host country Malaysia with mentions of Bollywood films shot in the South-East Asian nation like Don, Fanaa, Humraaz and the recent Roy. Arjun didn't even spare Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer film. He took a jibe at the film which saw Ranbir Kapoor in a guest appearance, saying, "The film should be called Destroy and not Roy."

Mocking of ‘Bombay Velvet’ and Anurag Kashyap: After Anurag Kashyap's most ambitious project Bombay Velvet tanked at the box-office, the filmmaker and the movie have become the butt of all jokes. And something similar happened on the stage. According to a PTI report, Bombay Velvet was also at the receiving end of the mockery as the hosts narrated the nursery poem ‘Johnny Johnny’ referring to Ranbir Kapoor’s character’s name Johnny Balraj in the film. "Ranbir should be named Roti in the film because his co-star Anushka was called Rosie and that makes Rosie-Roti. And they both took the Rosie-Roti away from Anurag Kashyap's pocket," they said.
