‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ is a dramatic love story which changes to a revenge drama as the bride runs away right before the wedding. Rajkummar Rao plays Satyendra aka Sattu and Kriti plays Aarti who meet for a proposed arranged marriage and fall in love in the process. Who’s that girl? It’s Kriti Kharbanda playing Aarti Shukla in ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ opposite Rajkummar Rao. The actress was last seen in ‘Guest Iin London’ after making her Bollywood debut with ‘Raaz Reboot’. With a low and steady start, Kriti is now fast gaining popularity in the Hindi film industry. The actress who was brought up Bengaluru is a big name in Telugu and Kannada cinema and has done several films like ‘Teen Maar’, ‘Googly, ‘Super Ranga’ to name a few. According to reports, Kriti Kharbanda liked the script so much that she didn’t not discuss remuneration and took home less compared to her other films.

The film has been directed by new face in the film industry - Ratnaa Sinha, the wife of director-producer Anubhav Sinha of ‘Ra.One’ fame.
