Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are set to make a comeback on the silver screen with Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha. The film has been in the news for its trailer and amazing locations. The first look gave a funny and quirky glimpse into the life of Ved and Tara. The film will get a solo release on November 27. However it may face competition from Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which hits the screens two weeks before. Deepika Padukone is one of the biggest reasons to watch Tamasha! The actress has repeatedly proved her acting prowess at the box- office and watching her in Tamasha is going to be another treat. From the first look, it may seem similar to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, but Deepika has clarified that both the projects are extremely different. Deepika has been having a successful spell at the box-office, which is not the case with Ranbir Kapoor. When the actress was asked if she was trying to save Ranbir’s career through the film, she said that everyone’s career goes through ups and downs and that she was not trying to do so.

In an interview with IANS, singer Mohit Chauhan was quoted as saying that, "I have sung a song in Tamasha. It's a beautiful song and he (Rahman) has created magic in the songs of the film, as he does every time." With Oscar winning composer A R Rahman heading the music department, it is definitely going to be a special album.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, in the film, Ranbir plays a free-spirited nomad who likes to spread happiness around and wanders from place to place. Along the way, he bumps into Deepika's character, who, like him, is a fan of the French comic series, Asterix, which is set in Corsica. Together, they set out to explore the picturesque French island, staging dramatic plays and falling passionately in love. Shot in the dream-like locations of Corsica, Tamasha is surely a must watch!
