Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep’s latest film ‘Mark’ was released yesterday on the festive day of Christmas. The action thriller registered a decent collection on its opening day, with a heavy release window and multiple releases.
According to a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, on Thursday, ‘Mark’ collected Rs 6.25 crore. Kichcha Sudeep’s previous hit, which was released on Christmas in 2024, was the movie ‘Max’, which made slightly more on the opening day, collecting Rs 10.32 crore. It is imperative to mention that the movie hit the big screens along with multiple films and is already released other films that are already doing good business.
Theatrical occupancy
Speaking of the film’s occupancy, it recorded an overall 81.87% Kannada Occupancy. There, with it being a holiday, a large group of fans turned up, as the morning shows recorded 62.06%. Further in the day, the occupancy peaked to 90.75%. It later dropped by, as the evening shows were at 88.01% and the night shows recorded 86.67%.

Vijay Kartikeyaa, the film is an action thriller that stars Kichcha Sudeep playing a cop. He is in a race against time to save kidnapped children, battling corrupt politicians and adversaries.
The film recieved mizxed review from fans and moviegoers on social media. Fans hailed the leads' strong screen presence, an impactful intro sequence and the score of the film, but also criticized the film’s routine storyline.
