Ban lifted! Film associations welcome back Sreenath Bhasi and Shane Nigam
A ban that was imposed by the film associations on Mollywood actors Sreenath Bhasi and Shane Nigam has been lifted. Reportedly, the decision to lift the ban was taken after Sreenath Bhasi submitted a written apology to the Producer’s Association while Shane Nigam was also willing to compromise regarding his compensation.
According to the reports, the ‘Bheeshmaparvam’ actor Sreenath Bhasi has agreed to return the advance payment he took from two films to which he committed. As the film associations have lifted the ban imposed on both promising actors, movie buffs are eagerly waiting for them to deliver their magnificent performances in the upcoming films.
For the uninformed, during the month of April this year, FEFKA and the Producers Association took a drastic step to ban the actors Sreenath Bhasi and Shane Nigam, alleging misbehaviour on the film sets. The ban restricted the actors from having any future collaborations with any of the film associations, although they were allowed to complete the dubbing and other work on their already committed works.
On the other hand, Shane Nigam has made a terrific comeback on screen, as his recently released film ‘RDX’ is shining bright at the box office. Directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath, ‘RDX’ is touted to be a complete action flick and is getting highly positive responses from all over. Actors Antony Varghese and Neeraj Madhav also played the lead characters in this action entertainer, which has reportedly crossed Rs 13 crore within 3 days at the worldwide box office collections.
Meanwhile, Sreenath Bhasi is yet to have a good hit, as most of his films after ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ didn’t work well at the box office. Sreenath Bhasi’s previous comedy-satire film, ‘Padachone Ingalu Katholee’ unfortunately didn't perform well at the box office, with several negative reviews from movie buffs.
