'Bloodshed in ‘Marco’ will be even more than what we have seen in Korean films,' says editor Shameer Muhammad
Unni Mukundan is all set to portray a terrific villain in the spin-off film ‘Marco’ which is directed by Haneef Adeni and recently the talented editor Shameer Muhammad revealed that the movie will be a completely violent action flick.
Talking to Reporters TV, the ‘Marco’ editor Shameer Muhammad revealed that the bloodshed in the film will be even more than all the Korean films he has ever seen. He said, “It’s a complete action flick. It can also be termed as the most violent movie and I even told Haneef Adeni that this movie has even more bloodshed than all of the Korean movies I have ever seen.”
Earlier during Unni Mukundan’s birthday, Shameer shared a special poster from ‘Marco’ and penned a note on Instagram that read, “Here’s Wishing A KickAss Birthday To our Ultimate Maverick. As promised, We bring you The UnniMukundan, like Never Before. Marco Is Blazing and UnniMukundan is Literally on Fire! The Villain You Knew, The Hero You Gonna Meet, Bloody Soon.”
‘Marco’ is a villain character who first appeared in the Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Mikhael’. Even though the movie turned out to be a flop, viewers were impressed with Unni Mukundan’s portrayal of the villain character ‘Marco’ in the movie. As the character dies in ‘Mikhael’, it needs to be seen whether the spin-off film ‘Marco’ will be dealing with the backstory of the lead character.
On the other hand, Haneef Adeni’s previous outing was with the comedy-heist film ‘Ramachandra Boss & Co.’ which unfortunately flopped at the box office. With ‘Marco’, the director is expected to make his grand comeback.
