Megastar Mammootty and his wife Sulfath celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary this week. The couple who tied the knot in 1979 celebrated four decades and two years of marriage this week. Many M-Town celebrities and fans poured in wishes for the happy couple.

Unni Mukundan and Prithviraj Sukumaran were recently filming for ‘Bhramam’, an upcoming Malayalam film. The film is helmed by Ravi K Chandran. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Unni Mukundan opened up about his experience working with Prithviraj Sukumaran. “He is a thorough gentleman. He is not just an exceptional actor, but also a compassionate individual. And I have heard a lot about the way he works. Raju has a very serious and professional approach towards cinema and I always wanted to watch it in person,” Unni Mukundan said.

Actor Mela Raghu passed away this week. He was 60. The actor passed away after collapsing at his home on April 16. The actor is best known for his debut film ‘Mela’, released in 1980, directed by KG George. Mollywood actors including Mammootty, Mohanlal mourned the loss of the actor.

Actor Sharan passed away. The ‘Chithram’ fame actor passed away on Wednesday (May 5). He was 49. The actor was reportedly under medication for the past couple of days before his demise. Sharan shot to fame after appearing in the 1988 film ‘Chithram’, as a child actor, which had Mohanlal in the lead role.
