#Whatif ‘Buried’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my travel buddies. Today let's take a ride deep down the earth into the world of a poor trapped man named Paul Conroy and check out the possibilities of the Hollywood film ‘Buried’ being remade in Mollywood. Over to Simon.

#Simon Says, “Today we are taking a different journey as we are going underground to the realm of the Hollywood claustrophobic thriller ‘Buried’. So kindly pass me the ticket and grab a shovel as ETimes presents the 41st episode #Whatif ‘Buried’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: Paul Conroy as Fahadh Faasil

#Simon Says, “Paul Conroy is the central character in the limited setting film ‘Buried’ who gets trapped inside a coffin that is buried 6 feet underground. Hollywood actor Ryan Reynold played the characters Paul Conroy and coming to the Mollywood remake, let's choose the versatile actor Fahadh Faasil, who played a similar role in the survival thriller ‘Malayankunju’, to reprise the role.”

Possibility 2: Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery

#Simon Says, “Mollywood director Lijo Jose Pellissery is such an efficient director who knows how to create a real tense situation and give a creepy and claustrophobic feel to the audience. His recent films ‘Churuli’ and ‘Jallikattu’ are some supreme examples of this. Coming to the Mollywood remake of ‘Buried’, this same style of creating an eerie vibe is necessary so as to keep up with the original movie. Lijo Jose Pellissery is indeed the perfect person to don the director’s cap for the Mollywood remake of ‘Buried’.”

Possibility 3: Music by AR Rahman

#Simon Says, “Let's take one more crew member from the recently released Fahadh Faasil starrer survival thriller ‘Malayankunju’ for the Mollywood remake of ‘Buried’, and that is none other than the musical maestro AR Rahman. With the usage of subtle but eerie kind of music, AR Rahman could pump up the whole feel of the Mollywood remake of ‘Buried.”

Possibility 4: Written by Jeethu Joseph

#Simon Says, “More than being a terrific director, the Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph who penned down the brilliant scripts of ‘Memories’, ‘Drishyam’ and many more, has a gifted writing talent that keeps the viewers glued to the screen. Taking this magnificent writing quality of the ace director, let's keep Jeethu Joseph in the writing department for the Mollywood remake of ‘Buried.”

#Simon Says, “ So guys today we explored the underground world of the Hollywood film ‘Buried’ and checked out most of the possibilities of the film being remade in Mollywood. As the original film has only one character and relies mostly on its execution style, it's sure that the Mollywood remake will also come to the same level as the renowned director Lijo Jose Pellisserry is on board. Hope you guys loved today’s episode. Let’s meet next week with yet another interesting episode of #Whatif. Till then bye.”
