Friendship has been an engrossing theme for the entertainment industry and several movies are being dedicated to this special bond. ​'Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi'

Marathi cinema's epic comedy film 'Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi' has some classic friendship moments that are sure to make you reminisce the good and the bad. The film's plot revolves around four friends who are searching for rented accommodation. The landlady insists only on married couples, so two of the friends are forced to dress as women and pretend to be wives of the other two.

It featured stars like Laxmikant Berde, Ashok Saraf and Sachin Pilgaonkar in key roles.

​'Duniyadari'

Sanjay Jadhav's blockbuster film 'Duniyadari' proved the true friendship, love and care for a friend. It featured stars like Swwapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Ankush Chaudhari, Urmilla Kothare, Jitendra Joshi, and Sushant Shelar in key roles.

The friendship among them was too strong that they were ready to put their life for each other. This friendship-cum-love story was a box-office hit.

​'Friends'

A Ramana Madhesh directorial, this film celebrates true friendship. It stars the two leading boys of M-town, Swwapnil Joshi and Sachit Patil in the prominent roles. It's the story of the two true mates Neel and Karan who can do anything and everything for each other. Starting with suspense, the story takes us to the flashback. How Neel chooses a friend over his love and what happens next is worth the watch.

​'FU: Friendship Unlimited'

Another movie which says friends are for a lifetime. Mahesh Manjrekar directorial multi-starrer film highlights love, heartbreak, rivalry, rebellion etc. It featured stars like Akash Thosar, Satya Manjrekar, Vaidehi Parshurami, Sanskruti Balgude and many more. This complete entertainer deserves a watch.

​'Classmates'

Friendship doesn’t see the time or after how long you meet. A bond between friends remains the same. Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial 'Classmates' was set on the backdrop of the college day friendship. The film shows the flashback of the events during the college days, the friendship, the rivalry between the two groups and a love story. In short, it is a complete entertainer.
