One one hand, where social media helps the Punjabi actresses in connecting with their beloved fans and enhance the base, on the other, it lets the trollers reach them and comment inappropriately. The ‘Punjab 1984’ fame Sonam Bajwa is mostly lauded for her perfect figure. The actress is a big-time gym freak and takes good care of her diet in order to maintain the shape. However, no matter what you do, the internet trollers find a way to point a finger at you. Once, Sonam Bajwa took it to her Instagram account to share a video of her workout where the diva was doing pull-ups in a crop top and yoga tracks. The actress was trolled for indecent dressing, and there were a lot of comments stating that she is hampering the Punjabi culture. However, Sonam didn’t pay any heed to the trollers and she still hits the gym in whatever she feels comfortable in.

The small screen diva Kavita Kaushik made her way to Punjabi entertainment world last year with ‘Vekh Baraatan Challiyan’. The actress like her onscreen characters is very strong in real life as well. She is among those stars who though don’t care what the trollers say, make a point to shut them with a befitting reply. Last year during Navratri celebration, the actress posted a video of her twirling in an anarkali suit. A twitterati tried to have his share of fun and commented that the dress must be free of cost, to which the actress replied “Unlike others, I don’t wear rented clothes! Everything I wear is my own hence you will see me repeat my clothes often!”

Talking of Twitter trolls, there’s something that the bold and beautiful Punjabi actress Gul Panag also faced. Once a Twitter user called Gul Panag aunty and asked her age while commenting on a picture she posted on the respective social media handle. Gul Panag on the other hand in her uber cool style, replied, “Beta JI, you're obviously Internet savvy? Why not try google? ” Thereafter the fans of the actress also jumped in to support and the troller lost the thread.

In the troller’s world, one doesn’t really need a logic to point a finger, he or she only needs a post to talk about. Perhaps that’s what happened with Surveen Chawala. The ‘Disco Singh’ fame keeps her fans hooked with her sizzling pictures and when she posted photographs of her sporting a bikini top from a shoot, she got under the trollers’ radar. She didn’t only get negative remarks on the choice of clothing but was also given some lued comments. However, ignoring all Surveen Chawala minded her own business, while her true supporters stood by her side and asked the trollers to get a life.

Himanshi Khurana has always been known to wear her heart on sleeves. This is one of the reasons, the diva never allows the trollers to have their fun at the cost of her peace. Last year while she posted a picture of her via a phone she got as a gift out of promotions, the actor-model-singer was brand shamed. Replying to the same, Himanshi Khurana posted a quote on her handle that read “Nobody is going to stand up on your funeral and say ‘she had a really expensive couch and great shoes’ Don’t make life about stuff”. The quote said it all.
