The 'Manjummel Boys' fever is still high in Tamil Nadu, and the movie has grossed more than Rs 25 crore in Chennai. On the whole, the film has made more than Rs 150 crore. Directed by Anwar Rasheed, the film, starring Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, is a neo-noir psychological thriller. The movie was a super hit among the Tamil Nadu audience for its realistic portrayal, and the theme of substance dependence based on religion was a new topic for the audience, which attracted them. The film made Rs 35 crore at the box office.

Njan Prakashan

Directed by Sathyan Anthikad, the movie is a comedy drama starring Fahadh Faasil in lead role. The film found a place for itself in the hearts of the Tamil Nadu audience due to its humor and realistic portrayal of characters. Releasing in 2018, the film made Rs 50 crore at the box office.

Directed by Anjali Menon, the film starred Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The movie had a good run in Tamil Nadu as the story was relatable and it appealed to all age groups. The film made a gross of Rs 45 crore at the box office.

Directed by Alphonse Puthrem, the romantic drama starred Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran, and Madonna Sebastian in lead roles. The film gained huge popularity in Tamil Nadu with its youthful appeal. The movie made a gross of Rs 75 crore at the box office.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, 'Drishyam' was released in 2013. It starred Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles. The movie was a crime thriller, and it made Rs 72 crore at the box office. The film ran well across all parts of India and was even later remade into Hindi and Tamil.
