However, Arvind Swamy and Gayathri got divorced in 2010 after spending 15 years together. Arvind Swamy then got married to Aparna Mukherjee in 2012, and the couple is spending a blissful married life since then.

Arvind Swamy faced a severe accident in 2005 and suffered partial paralysis of his leg. He gained several kilos after his accident, and it was a tough one for the actor to walk long. But he kept up his fighting spirit and participated in a marathon in 2015 to run for almost 21 kilometers.
