Arvind Swamy started his cinema journey at the age of 21, and he played a supporting role in Mani Ratnam's directorial 'Thalapathi' starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The handsome actor then developed to do lead roles, and his charming nature made him earn more fans for him. With a career spanning over 30 years in the industry, Arvind Swamy has still managed to shine in the film industry by delivering some super hit performances. Today, the expert actor celebrates his 51st birthday and wishes have been pouring in for him from fans and friends. Married twice

Arvind Swamy got married to Gayathri in 1994, and the couple has two children Adhira (Daughter) and Rudra (Son). However, Arvind Swamy and Gayathri got divorced in 2010 after spending 15 years together. Arvind Swamy then got married to Aparna Mukherjee in 2012, and the couple is spending a blissful married life since then.

Plans of directing a film

Audiences have witnessed Arvind Swamy portraying several characters in films, however the actor has a long desire of directing a film, and to play the lead role in that movie. Arvind Swamy has also prepared two scripts for it, and we are sure he will be directing a film in the future.

Arvind Swamy loves to play online games, and he spends his free time playing several games on mobile and other software. Game Of War is Arvind Swamy's favorite game, and he loves playing that game since he is an expert in it.

On the contrary, it was never Arvind's dream to be an actor, in fact he wished to be a doctor earlier, however changed path later.

Participated in a Marathon

Arvind Swamy faced a severe accident in 2005 and suffered partial paralysis of his leg. He gained several kilos after his accident, and it was a tough one for the actor to walk long. But he kept up his fighting spirit and participated in a marathon in 2015 to run for almost 21 kilometers.
